As I slowly add perennials to the garden bed, I am grateful for the bouncy reliability of cleome, one of my favorite annuals. Lots of height and color!

Join the garden fairies and bring a book to the garden. I cant think of a nicer place to read!

Even though I live in the city and the street is just a car-length away down the driveway, this is where you’ll find me every morning. In my bathrobe and whatever slip-ons are handy by the door, sipping a fresh cuppa and snagging pesky weeds. Checking on my flowers is a joyous way to begin the day! It is one of the things I most enjoy about the season. You’re invited for tea, but if you can’t make it, here’s wishing you a wonderful week!

I, too, love getting up in the am and going into the yard with my tea. I usually grab a weed or two while I’m there, as there are always plenty!
