This week’s eCard is a photo from my weaving studio a few years back. I love using other artists’ color palettes and seeing where they take me in my own work. The watercolor print card of summer peaches on a lavender tablecloth is still one of my favorites, and made delicious inspiration for the shelf-top yarn arrangement. The miniature Nantucket basket is a personal treasure, handmade by my aunt, a masterful craftswoman, and the woman who first taught me to thread a needle and handstitch a flannel layette for my newborn sister so long ago. … Enjoy!

I LOVE this idea. Time to go pull out some of my favorite pictures and match up yarn and see if I can make something fun and magical happen! Of course I’m no Lisa Allen Lambert!
