Week #5 of the Biggest Loser competition at my local gym.
Although I possess strength of focus and loads of self-motivation in many areas of my life,
when it comes to intense, fat-burning exercise, it’s another story. I knew
external influence was needed to help me shed some extra pounds — yes, like 35.
And more % body fat than I care to reveal here. So early in January, I signed up up and joined
a team, ready and eager to do whatever it took. I’m thrilled to report that I’m down 9″
and 4% body fat. And in case you’re wondering how hard the BL competition has been,
let me just say that it’s like a part-time job!
The investment of a heart-rate monitor/wristwatch gadget provides regular entertainment
at the end of each workout, when I rush to check my calories and body-fat-burned stats.
I highly recommend one if you’re trying to add excitement to your own workouts. It definitely
adds an element of fun to the whole experience. As far as diet? Pretty much like Eating Clean.
Every time I look at my most recent vision board, I’m reminded of my personal commitment
to reclaim physical fitness. … Stay tuned for more results!

Good Job Lisa!!! I’m so proud of you! Keep your eye on the prize as you ride through the highs and lows of BL. Everything worth having is worth working for…work it girl!!! I can’t wait to see you. BTW, that body % loss is impressive…way to go!
Good for you, Lisa! Every year I tell myself that I’m going to take the time to exercise properly but so far I haven’t made the committment. Love your vision board for ’08 as well! That’s something else that I want to do for myself. ~ Lynda xo
Well done! Keep up the good work!
Wow! Good for you! You are doing so well! Keep it up – you are inspiring me! And I love the photo of the metal mannequin with the scarf around it’s waist. Very pretty
