A ‘thank you’ in words alone did not seem enough, so I embellished one of the vintage copyright-free downloads from The Graphics Fairy to accompany a little email note expressing gratitude for yesterday’s festivities. My brother Anthony is the co-founder of the pretty-darn-famous OTTO pizza restaurants. Yesterday he closed his Coolidge Corner (Brookline, MA) location and put on an amazing Thanksgiving spread for family and friends. I even brought along my current project as a dietary aid (hey, if my hands are busy making something … ), which proved to be quite the conversation starter: “Are you making doilies?” “Is that a yarmulke?” “Do you just pick the colors as you go?”
Good eats and good times were had by all. And that’s my niece in the lower right photo — definitely an entrepreneur in training!
