Tart, lip-curling lemons have the potential to be transformed into sweet, thirst-quenching lemonade. Squeeze. Dilute the fresh juice. Add sweetener. Serve it up in a pretty glass or mug. And voilah!
Call me a Pollyanna, an optimist — I’m more comfortable lingering with sweet rather than bitter. Seeing the sunny side of things. That’s just how I’m wired. So when I had to move out of my house eighteen months ago, I didn’t mention it.
But now, after sipping lemonade for the past year and a half, I’m back home.
I may be hobbling along in cyberspace with an almost-vintage laptop and relying on hope that Comcast reunites me with my email account today (this is day #2 since we were separated!). But it feels g-r-e-a-t to be back home!
The natural light in here is an inspiration in itself. Can’t wait to start posting more regularly again.

Lisa,
The house has great space and light! It is a great pallete for your creativity. Your knitting looks awesome, also. I wonder if it is finished or will you just keep going? I am blaming you for being lost in blog land now!
Jenna
Jenna, the house is wonderful. I just love it. And you’re right – it is a perfect backdrop for my creative pursuits. Thanks for visiting and commenting!
Such a delight. It’s going to be a bright, sun shiny day, indeed! Thanks for sharing your optimistic ways and the inspiring pictures. I look forward to more posts to the blog.
Thanks, Trudie. You bring a fair bit of sunshine into the day yourself!
Absolutely yummy looking!! Tell me the paint colors. Those are exactly the colors I’m looking for!! : ) Jenny
I would be happy to help you match the colors (they are a perfect back-drop). Do not have the paint cans any longer, though.
Looks like a bright future!
Yes, it feels that way!
Yay! I’m so happy for you – that house looks beautuful! And isn’t it fun to look at an empty room and dream about the possibilities? Looking forward to seeing more from you in the future!
Thanks, Erika! Yes, I love the ‘clean slate’!
